I remember when I started this blog

Naples Web Design | Fort Myers Web Design

I remember when I started this blog long ago, I was working at JWP as a cabinet finisher slash SEO web person. I was actually doing the SEO for free, getting JWP to the very top of the SERPs in our niche. At one time we were sitting pretty for every search term in our niche, next to KraftMaid and the rest of the multi-million dollar companies.

Of course SEO takes time and usually money, neither of which I had a great deal of. So after my successful first shot at SEO I kind of forgot about it and went on about the cabinet finishing, I'm actually a great cabinet finisher. We were busy and I didn't really think much of SEO as a job.

Then one of my friends who I had met when he bought an old forum site from me thought he wanted to get into the Naples Web Design market. Since the housing market took a poop and business was slow I figured why not, so here we are.

I haven't posted in this blog for a very long time and figured it could use some fresh posting, so here ya go :)

Nobody wants to see your entrance page.

Do you have one of these? If you do, get rid of it, nobody wants to see it or sit at their computer waiting for it to finish playing. I was just looking at the SERPS (search engine results page) for Naples cabinet related terms and came across the naplescabinets.com site.

I'm not sure where the entrance page idea originated from, but thankfully the trend is dieing. I suppose it was a way for web designers to show off or something, who knows. I'm not even a real web designer and I know that entrance pages are a no-no.

A new blog just for Naples Web Design...

I made a blog earlier today about Naples SEO. Now I'm going to make this one for Naples Web Design.

I recently sold off my remaining websites and closed down my hosting account. I used the money to pay off some medical bills. Now I need to get a decent job and I figured the easiest way to get noticed was to say hello to the local companies(naples, ft myers, cape coral, etc) via Google search results. So...hello...now can I have a job please? :P

I'm not very good at web design, actually I suck at it. But am pretty good a SEO, and I'm willing to learn PHP or any other language.
